there are the few places in the mountains people dare not tread, the government-displaced hillybillies are very mad, and very crazy.

@jeremiah it's interesting. in rural areas, respecting people's property is paramount, but it doesn't preclude helping each other out, visiting for a conversation, or even holiday celebrations. this doesn't mean there aren't assholes among them.

the quiet itself is normal so usually they're quite happy to talk your ears off if you ask.

@jeremiah @xahlee i agree with this... hehe. i never liked public transportation. i like public infrastructure, but not necessarily public transportation. it makes sense in certain contexts... and i disagree with the idea of urban environments.
