My new doorbell came with a number of different sounds, all of which were very long, few of which made a "ding-dong" sound. I was worried that I had made a bad purchase, but finally found the "ding-dong" sound. In my opinion, doorbells should say "ding-dong", not play Beethoven's Fifth.

I recently purchased a doorbell and forgot about it for a week before installing it.

I don't think it's possible to adult any harder.

1. Make sensible household purchase.

2. Put off installing it for a week because you're busy.

@Cryoclaire I tipped off a comic book store in Oslo about this, since I suspect it's exactly the sort of thing they like to have in stock.

@Cryoclaire This is also the sort of thing that I think would sell really well in Europe. Our comic book tradition is more eclectic than the American one, which mostly focuses on superheroes.

I enjoy the fact that the notification sound I'm using in @tootapp was composed by me. (I contributed some new notification sounds to it.)

If I was Rust's maintainer, there would be ferric puns all over that codebase, and of course, I'd use Doxygen for documentation, not because it's particularly suited to the task, but because the pun would be too corrosive to resist...
