module dev in vcv rack was okay but still far from a web-based panel interface. like, inputs and buttons and displays are entirely managed in c++ over a svg background.

what i'm thinking of is more like a browser extension, js+html calling a rust api to communicate with the dsp engine

like imagine opening the web inspector tool to debug a module in rack or fl studio. cool

i think it was my first idea for rwave too

a web frontend, a wasm interface, and a rust backend for the signal processing

how cool is it to replace vsts by some rust and a web frame
