Yesterday, on national TV, he said he's worried about people rescuing drowning refugees inn the Mediterranean. Not the drowning bit, the rescuing bit. He's worried it gives off the wrong signal.

Hey all. I'm sorry I've been almost entirely gone for some time now.

Unfortunately my dad died in an accident one month, one week ago. He was a bit old, but in very good health and expected to live for many more years. I miss him terribly and I regret how little time I spent with him.

In addition my mom has been very sick for 2 1/2 years and is currently in the hospital and my life is just generally not great

My hours at work have been cut, I will have to start freelancing again or try to get more higher tier Patreon sponsors if I want to keep working on Pixelfed this much.

@TheOuterLinux I just learned that that kernel stopped being supported in 2016. Not sure it's a good idea to use it now, for security reasons. Info screens doesn't control anything critical, but I guess it could be taken over for a botnet or something, or just be messed with, costing a lot to fix, maybe
