PSA: for every food co-op i've ever heard of you don't need to be a member to shop there. you can still buy your groceries there and support a community or worker owned store instead of a distant mega corp

i've never met a soup nazi, but i've met a lot of soup anarchists

i also have a complementary goal of creating a learning position or two in the food co-op for a marginalized person to learn about tech where they will receive a huge discount on their groceries in return for working on fun projects for a couple hours a week

things are in the works for a regular solarpunk/homebrew/radical tech meetup. I just have to put together the description and work out the regular dates with food co-ops events coordinator. stay tuned ...
