Tom Hardy was Shinzen in Star Trek: Nemesis! TIL. I didn't know of him at the time.

I remember not particularly liking the film, but this scene is very powerful, Shinzen and Picard discussing their ancestry and humanity.

The clip shows both the screentest and the final scene.

Some commenters prefer the screentest, and while I agree that the raw form is very impressive, I can also see the polish in tone and dynamic that was added by the director and actors during production. I prefer the finished version.
