@A13cui πerl: :opensuse: I expect there are Dreamcast emulators out there you could look at, and in the other direction people have put Linux on the Dreamcast. -

"The SuperH processor is a Japanese design developed by Hitachi in the late 1990's. As a second generation hybrid RISC design it was easier for compilers to generate good code for than earlier RISC chips, and it recaptured much of the code density of earlier CISC designs by using fixed length 16 bit instructions (with 32 bit register size and address space), using microcoding to allow some instructions to perform multiple clock cycles of work. (Earlier pure risc designs used one instruction per clock cycle even when that served no purpose but to make the code bigger and exhaust the encoding space.)
Hitachi developed 4 generations of SuperH. SH2 made it to the United states in the Sega Saturn game console, and SH4 powered the Sega Dreamcast. They were also widely used in areas outside the US cosumer market, such as the japanese automative industry."

Someone just said that some person's presentation said that more development is done in J-Core than in RISC-V. I've never heard of J-Core before. -

With this and Top Gun: Maverick I have to say Tom Cruise is a terrific producer who keeps injecting quality in movies you'd think would just be cash grabs.
Thus earning even more cash, of course.

@RM4 :blobcatspace: It's even a good watch without Part 2, but now that I've enjoyed this I'll see that next year too.
I wasn't even planning to watch this one just like I didn't see the previous one, I only went because someone else did.

The last MI I watched was Ghost Protocol and I'm pretty sure it wasn't this good.
I barely remember the first three, but probably this one is better than those too.
Pacing perfect, story 100% self-contained and self-explained yet tying into previous films, gorgeus scenery, gorgeus actors, amazing stunts, solid acting. Solid craftwork, through and through.

I watched #MissionImpossible #DeadReckoning because why the heck not, mindless action is entertaining enough.
It was surprisingly exciting and interesting, engaging even. I was at the edge of my seat for long stretches of time and even cared a bit about the characters and where the story would go.

I'm just Tabs Brain 4 Lyfe.

@A13cui πerl: :opensuse: I think the answer is obvious: Dedicated apps don't have 400 tabs. π€£
Fedi is a web and it creates more exponential browsing than even Wikipedia.
I see a conversation with a gold comment from a person I'm not currently following. Tab. Their home timeline is full of nuggets. Tab tab tab. Go to the tabs, search those URLs on my home server for interaction.
But only after I finish reading this thread. Oh look, a squirrel! I wonder which species of squirrel is the most common in Wales? Tab.

So I want one browser that can handle 400 fedi tabs. That's Mulch.
And then I want a browser that I always run in private mode as my default browser and that's now Cromite.
I don't see a whole lot of alternatives actually.
I open non-fedi links on fedi in Mull, which is also always in private mode.
Iceraven ... sadly has fallen out of use as it can't handle my many tabs and will OOM if I open Pleroma.
The tab groups in Mulch have significantly improved my fedi life.

Is it possible to get sound working over an Apple miniDP-to-HDMI or should I not even try and just get a generic miniDP++-to-HDMI adapter instead?
Maybe it's working in theory and I just need to wiggle the plugs a bit.

So, we have Mulch and it doesn't come with any default content blocking, which Bromite/Cromite does.

@A13cui πerl: :opensuse: Sure, we have Mull and Mulch already, but Bromite is the one that has been working for me on sites where Mull doesn't, so I'm happy there's a successor.
