From what I can see this was the first time this sequence happened on Twitter.

Someone else posted the first line a bit earlier but didn't get that particular response. The exchange has been repeated multiple times later.

Some people have posted the exchange as a dialog in one post, some using one pair of names for the roles, some using another pair of names. Is the original from popular culture?
