@andybalaam I hope you're feeling better, soon.
@bkam Is this simply another word for a wiki and a description of a process that goes along with that?
China is quietly winning the diplomatic war with Taiwan

@vickysteeves I wasnβt aware that there was a special tag! π¨ I have used βgood first issueβ and βhelp wantedβ ever since GitHub started recommending those (to no avail in my projects, thought).
@jlelse sadly, I live in Switzerlandβ¦ in Europe, in the fortress Europe, and yet, withoutβ¦ π

#Mahabharata
Iβm still watching the #Mahabharata. The brothers are preparing for war. Krishna is asking Arjuna whether he has done absolutely everything to avoid the war. Arjuna points out that the war is inevitable. Krishna agrees but says that Arjuna gets to pick the war heβs going to fight. The dialogue is definitely picking up.
@fitheach Yeah, the inability to analyse the iPhone software annoys me. I'm looking stuff up on the site eventhough I have a different phone expecting the developers to have made the their moral and financial decisions independtly from the platform. So, if it runs on both, and I don't like what I see on Android, chances are I won't like what I'm getting on the iPhone.
@sohkamyung
@fitheach Nah, I think Iβm going to stay with iPhone for the next generation until I see that long term support actually works. My mother in-law has our old iPhone 5 and that is now no longer supported. I have the iPhone 6S and that still works like a charm, my wife has the iPhone 8β¦ so I think weβre simply going to keep using those old iPhones for the next two years. Then weβll see how well the open phones are doing.
@sohkamyung
@fitheach @sohkamyung too bad https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/search/ doesnβt seem to know fbreader.
@fitheach the movie is getting better β still weird but I love the multi-ethnic cast, and I keep wondering what strange events and prejudice might have led to this story.
@fitheach I think in my heart of hearts I fear alcoholism and thus I always watch my alcohol consumption with a little dread. Was this too much? Is this too often? Is this too early? The super-ego is strong in me. π
I did it. Last night I had my first performance of this Kodaly Sonata and it was good. It was an absolutely magical space, very unconventional. I began with no audience. The art gallery visitors heard me through the building and came. People came from the stairs above, came from adjoining rooms, sat & they all stayed for this 30 min modern sounding cello piece. Many were artists. One man said it made him think of carving stone. Other lady said what a wonderful moment in time. (yay) #smallstories
@n0btc exactly. ππ₯π₯π₯
@tootbrute actually now I remember writing a blog post listing some of my favorites. But I no longer to the movies all that much.

@fitheach youtube-dl to the rescue. Right now it is very weird. Iβve got the five Pandavas and right now the first of the one hundred Kauravas made an appearance. I think I will continue spending the day on the soda drinking chai and eating apple pie as I watch this. Iβm already wondering how long I have to wait before some whiskey would be appropriate.
Β«An Assyrian clay tablet dating to around 2800 B.C. bears the inscription: βOur Earth is degenerate in these later days; there are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end; bribery and corruption are common; children no longer obey their parents; every man wants to write a book and the end of the world is evidently approaching.βΒ»

Well, I donβt want to write a book, thatβs for sure.
I am fascinated by the thought that at the very beginning, when humans had but one story, every other story they wanted to tell had to basically be part of the same book. And so many old religions have this one book, a madness, a collection of all the stories these people ever told themselves, in some weird order, retold over centuries and collected by scribes. All is one.
@ashwinvis oh, perhaps this is more appropriate: MAHABHARATA (3 VOL. SET) Special Price $90.00 https://www.amarchitrakatha.com/int/amar-chitra-katha/mahabharata-3-vol-set
