Why not put "only in London right now" in the banner at the top of the page that whitters on about Buckingham Palace?

@tschoffelen Hockney went a bit crackers after a while and started faxing pictures back and forth, and doodling on his iPad.

There's a big permanent exhibition of his work close to where I live. It's not great.

@SpacePrincessHolly Are you a cold lover too? I much prefer the house being too cold to too hot. If it's a bit chilly I can put another layer on or even put the heating on for a bit, but even in winter I hardly use the heat.

Top Tip: If you find your house too hot at present, leave all your windows wide open overnight.

In the morning, there will be no electronics in your house to generate excess heat.

Forgot it was Sunday. The radio is full of brass bands parping away. Great to hear out-of-doors at a summer fair or event, terrible to listen to on the radio.

@Graham_Mitchell There are so many commercial stations being pumped out on DAB radio that are literally just a playout system on a server in a racks room somewhere. No one is listening, and even fewer people are monitoring the output.

@Graham_Mitchell Irish radio seemed particularly bad while I was there. RTÉ1's evening show had him as their 'artist of the day' and played a whole bunch of Morrissey songs in a row. Goodness knows why, because this was only last week.

In the UK, it's mostly the automated stations like Absolute 90s. I don't think many people are overseeing the output so it is probably just a lack of attention to the music scheduling.

Why are radio stations persisting in playing songs by Morrissey considering his repeatedly stated support for far-right racist organisations?

They have dumped other artists from playlists for far less over the years. Perhaps the people in charge simply aren't aware?

Looks like Virgin Media might have nixed archive.is for some reason. The site is up, but inaccessible from my VM cable connection.

The weather must be over 18 degrees today because the first thing I hear on turning on the radio is "Summertime" by DJ Jazzy Jeff etc.

I dislike hearing confrontation and arguments outside, too. There's a pub just down from my house so on hot days, especially when there's been a wedding reception, it can often spill out late at night. :(
