How many connections are being held open? Each PostgreSQL connection is a process and will cache objects used by that connection

Most important feature is a UI that is helpful and intuitive, but does not abstract away how email actually works

I block Google with noscript. A little piece of my dies each time I have to temporarily allow it for recaptcha etc.

I much prefer using client access/sender access on my mail server so it can return passive aggressive bounce messages! Perhaps configurable auto-responders should be an option in a mail client. I could actually see a 'please remove any personal data you have associated with this email address' being semi-useful?

After my mothers recent pwnage I am writing some ansible to spin up a zabbix proxy + pi-hole on an Intel Atom NUC that can sit on her network. Still scripting up the prerequisites. Exim doesn't do SASL auth out of the box so I'm currently scripting up postfix to act as a relay for local host, unless anyone has any lighter weight suggestions for a headless Debian server?

It's still far too ubiquitous in it's use. And still a necessary tool for campaigning. I loathe every interaction with it. Same with WhatsApp too. I would lose them both in a heart beat.

Routine visit to mother. She pipes up how her laptop got infected and how someone from Microsoft helped her reinstall Windows. Plumbed through the Firefox cache, found the payload still on the machine. Looks like JavaScript and flash payloads were downloaded after the 'clean' reinstall. Needless to say she is now using a Linux desktop as a stop gap. It has Firefox and she can use Facebook. I don't think she even realises it is Linux.
