@idiot Not for me. I use certbot but without changing the key (that's necessary for DANE).

@idiot The private key won't move: it will be put by root on all the servers when the key is created and will not change afterwards.

OK, it seems the vast majority of #LetsEncrypt users chooses the following solution: one server is designated to request the certificate from LE, all the other servers proxy /.well-known/acme-challenge to the reference server, which then pushes the cert to its friends. Thanks, I'll try that.

@bortzmeyer pick a server, others proxy ACME challenge path to THE server.

You should use DNS challenge, not HTTP.

@bortzmeyer And, of course, say to LE that mounted dir is the dir for .well-known/acme/challenge, and change your webserver with it too.

Does anyone has a practical experience with Let's Encrypt for a Web site with *several* servers? The LE challenge can reach any of these servers, not always the one which started the request. Any idea how to handle it? #HTTPS #TLS #PKIX #ACME #LetsEncrypt

Under communism you don't own your own tooth brush.

Under the capitalism, you may in the near future, no longer own your computer.
