Rather than a larger and larger USB memory stick, I want an 8G one with onboard RAID5

Canada is not sliding into fascism as quickly. We kicked out our nutty conservative leader, and and working to slide into boring. We're moving toward a better world, slowly.
-
♲ @Off-Brand Brandon (dropkickpikachu@twitter.com): the democrats' narrative absolutely needs to be "the blue wave DID just happen, and look how broken the system has been made by gerrymandering that your voices weren't heard proportionally" and then they need to get the fuck to work fixing it
-
♲ @Rowland Manthorpe (rowlsmanthorpe@twitter.com): Quick reminder for any British commentators who feel obliged to lament the ongoing polarisation in the US: there isn't polarisation, just one extreme party moving rapidly right
And yes, this makes it hard for journalists to talk about. That's why it's so insidious

♲ @Unix McBeard (BeardOps@twitter.com): If you just keep typing "docker" into slack, all of your technical problems go away apparently.
-
No. And, unfortunately, since I fundamentally know enough about security to never do this. Unfortunately, the people who ARE coding voting machines DON'T.
-
Have you met me? or everyone else?
Also - there's so many people who WANT to do good. But apparently just not allowed.
-
Fact of the matter is that I completely believe voting machines are sending the wrong votes and breaking down all over the US due to error. Since, you know, people who make computers and computer programs are TERRIBLE at it. The worst. The actual worst.

♲ @ᴡʜʏ ɪs ASHLEY LYNCH ᴏɴ ᴍʏ ᴛʟ (ashleylynch@twitter.com): How Canadians feel about the creeping fascism of every US election.

I am just being mean

I am not voting today, and have not voted
-
♲ @Nicholas Weaver (ncweaver@twitter.com): @zeynep A good rule: Anyone who suggests "blockchain" and "online voting" neither understands computer security nor voting.
-
♲ @zeynep tufekci (zeynep@twitter.com): Can you imagine how this would work? First, let have the government build a biometric database of every citizen and then watch as that database is breached and thumbprints spoofed with inkjet printers (yes yes..😬) 😱😱😱😱 Anyway, optical scan ballot plus meaningful audits. 🤷♀️

♲ @Sarah Jamie Lewis (SarahJamieLewis@twitter.com): @timberners_lee Imagine if we had a web where instead of corporations signing pledges that they will "respect" the privacy of "consumers" - we lived in a world where privacy was enforced through technology.

♲ @Crypti-Calli (Iwillleavenow@twitter.com): @ethanjacobslaw *dons "ego is preggo" shirt every time I step outside*
"I am a hacker."

Can #Nagios only seriously escalate a service based on hostname? Not on service name?!
-
I mean, I do monetize it ;) But "all paradigm shifts are scams" is exhausting

I am a completely scruffy nerd right now, and I need to figure out daily routines https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DrNexJlUcAA8k3A.jpg
