Got an job interview request, and was pretty anxious about it. I didn't even read the email. I just got a second email from the CEO and now I am *more* anxious.

#KARTAS can be a weird podcast. Robin seems to understand story as a concept so much more, so you get less from him, since Ken's occult knowledge is so fascinating. But yet, in an RPG podcast, groking story and narrative so well is so valuable. I get why they are amazing together

Last night I ran the final session of The Fast and the Frankenstein in Drama System. One of the things that made Drama System go well was the players giving themselves permission to ruin things for each other by using our framing device.
The framing device is that the game was a movie set in the universe of ANOTHER game, allowing us to make asides as our former PCs watching the movie, or, when we did something stupid, insult the director.

The first series just... misunderstood the books, and completely just made up everything except for trailer bait for fans of the book.

The thing is - Broken Angels made me *like* Altered Carbon. I thought Altered Carbon was the best book ruined by poor execution. Reading Broken Angels made me feel that everything about Altered Carbon was perfect.
But I *doubt* they are going to do the whole series with a totally new cast each time. Especially due to how incompatible the book series is with the show.
