My roomate wonders why I talk to the tv when I'm by myself lol

Media commentary is part of Black culture.

Its how my parents taught me how to recognize "white people/racist bullshit". This requires critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret a narrative and recognize symbolism. To teach us this, we had to talk while we watched the show/movie. Also its just too fun.

I ended up having "is this a silent watching or a live commentary hang out" check ins with all my friends once i figured this out.

Live commentary is way more fun, and less toxic than passively absorbing all that mess.

    Jean Pain Composting Power Plant.

Produces gas and heat using dead plant things and water and a hose. For the gas a sealed canister and another hose is required. Not much else.

    Its pretty amazing.

You know how in movies when everyone is panicking in collapse the best vehicle to have is a motorcycle?

    It's actually a bike.

Shit a bike is better almost everyday.

"My message is that if we do not care about the climate crisis and if we do not act now then almost no other question is going to matter in the future," Thunberg, who has Asperger's syndrome, said. "Why should I be studying for a future that soon may not exist?"

@OmnaBrain @jjg For sure, We just have to know and care and be connective with each other to make that happen. I don't think it's really possible for that to happen by accident anymore, barring some life altering disaster. I think community building is kind of a technology, the same way alienating people to keep them under control is. It's systematic, we can come together that way too. If I wasn't a socialist I wouldn't care about knowing my neighbors beyond like... that would be nice.
