@kensanata happens to me all the time as a vim user too, falling down rabbit holes until you forgot the way back up. it doesnt help that im easily distractable

this is an interesting idea!!
i think mastodon provides rss feeds by default? I'm not sure, will look it up, but i know write freely certainly does. having it ping-back for favs and how to deal with boosts would be cool to see

public protocols for rss sync are fairly limited from what i know. there's at least two competing standards (greader and feedburner? something like that) so that would also be a cool problem to solve!

hmmm, how would i type it in when unlocking my passwords? even after getting the private key an attacker would have to break the password, im not sure how they'd do that currently:

right now its one of <5 different passwords i have to remember since i cant use a password manager in those situations. it's also probably the strongest of the lot of them.

i really should be sleeping...
