taking requests for interesting non fiction books. primarily interested in philosophy, economics & politics (anarchy, marxism, etc) and culture (whatever that may mean to you)

hit me with your best! ive never really read any non fiction and plan to approach these with "active reading" now that i can take notes and shit.

@ryen yooo I'm so glad to hear that for you too!! i was positively freaking out about it, and having this alternative has been a godsend.

@cascode I think they have some sense of identity tied to being brutal. which whatever, id rather them decimate it then fluff it up. being tired and having that extra stress just meant i wasnt in the right place to take it.

the criticism was mostly grammar/spelling which is something i shouldnt miss anyway. some missing technologies (that arent particularly desirable for me to list, nor marketable, so idgaf) she said i could do a better job on the tasks that are expected, but not in what sort of way? ( told me to ask my coworkers 🙄)

i think she knows my resume is quite strong, but was looking to be critical because thats the way she sees herself.

now that I'm less stressed i can "see" clearly again. I'm grateful for the effort she put in, but also eye roll at what she actually gave me back.

@ryen thanks man, i appreciate it. I'm in a dark spot and the light at the end is dim and could go out at any moment.

as someone with a history of mental problems, im not looking forward to the fallout, should it happen.
