there is a reason white men with white supremacist manifestos continue to be behind horrific acts of terrorism. it was planned. the messaging of white supremacists is built to organize these types of attacks. still, the media largely ignores this. police use kid gloves when dealing with white supremacist terrorists (in Portland when police apprehended Jeremy Christian they let him finish his beer before arresting him ... he had just murdered 2 people) -

36 years ago, the grand dragon of the texas KKK, Louis Beam, started circulating an essay that would go on to influence the alt-right and the movement of white supremacist organizing in america:
"[Beam] argued that groups should essentially organize into two levels. The first would be a network of militant, underground “phantom cells” that carry out violence individually or in small groups. The second would be the public-facing, political arm of the movement that claims not to be affiliated with the violence. “Most groups who ‘unify’ their disparate associates into a single structure have short political lives,” Beam wrote. Every white supremacist would make “a private decision in the quietness of his heart to resist: to resist by any means necessary.” The public groups would blend in “with mainstream ‘kosher’ associations that are generally seen as harmless.” And when one individual or cell got caught committing a crime, they would be disavowed as lone wolves, so as to not compromise the the movement and its public figures."

so, now you've spent around $150 for your computer, phone, and games. buying these refurbished keeps waste from the landfills. they are all really well supported and the computer has tons of replacement parts available on the cheap so you can repair it if anything breaks instead of throwing it away -

for gaming, you can buy a PS3 controller. you can find these on ebay for less than $20
if you install an application called retroarch, on either the computer or the phone, you can use the PS3 controller to play games from the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, GBA, PS2 ... the list goes on and on -

i used to be really into having the newest computer gadget. now i use refurbished hardware. it's so much cheaper. it lasts. it reduces landfill waste. it's great, and i don't really feel like i am missing out on much tech-wise.

person who attacked the buses is a hero. obviously i wish it had gone differently. i wish the buses were destroyed and the saboteur escaped into the night
as much as i'm worried about the repercussions the state might bring, lets not kid ourselves into thinking they wouldn't have done them anyway. maybe now a few more white radicals will lose some privilege and be treated awfully by authorities. the raids would still be happening. the stakes were already high for many -

a few years ago on May Day in Seattle someone broke a window. what followed was months of targeting leftists and jailing them for not ratting on their friends. today someone attacked some vehicles at a concentration camp
they let white supremacists go for this sort of thing (and way worse), but we should bet on an increase in being targeted. they shot the saboteur
add to this that ICE is targeting raids tomorrow on "sanctuary cities"

Gab is even trying to turn "the whole fediverse is gab" into a meme
