It is the responsibility of *all* of us! We should block them, and definitely not enable them. Everywhere we can.
To paraphrase Churchill: "Even though large [instances] have fallen or may fall into the grip of the odious apparatus of Nazis, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in the code, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight in the configs, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our federation, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the app stores, we shall fight in the servers and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
We're getting 1-star bombed by people who think us blocking Gab is a bad idea, so if you'd like to help us counter that by giving us an honest review (I'm not asking for 5 stars), feel free to head over to the play-store and do so!
So in that way it is very disapointing. The way it is unchallengingly racist in many guise is also terrible.
The amount of violence is also beyond what is needed. Same for the full front nudity, especiall in the way it is unbalanced.
It has great pictures, lots of complex caracters as a good HBO should have. It is an epic story, which people tend to enjoy (has to do with the fact that they were books to start with) I'm not gutted to have spent time watchin it
I can now understand reference to the damn thing, which is 1/2 of why I watched it in the first place.
The other reason is that I quite enjoy HBO (the wire, oz).
It is difficult to say that it is a critic of patriarchy. Same for ecology, democracy etc.
Like it really does none of the thinking for you, few words here and there. Thats quite bad since the whole story is based on the patriarchy ruining everything
I've just watch the whole thing now, starting from the first episode a month ago (so after the last episod was aired).I just finished the last episode now.
I've seen a lot of heated debate, but now that I've sesn it all, I'd say that it is likely due to people having expectation that cannot be met.
Sure season 7,8 have a radically different feel to them (which kind of follow the increased rythm of the story telling).
