MakerDAO and Cosmos sponsoring a hackathon together? Does this mean we will see DAI on the Cosmos blockchain? They ARE working on making all tendermint blockchains compatible with ethereum smart contracts. #blockchain#ethereum#cosmos
@deFrisselle This is a very disingenuous argument. You know that most in the KKK will identify more with the right and that is why they are labelled Alt Right, nothing to do with who created it.
I find on twitter my eyes keep moving towards a user's username to check what instance they are on to find out more about their potential interests and views. #Fediverse
Considering a fork of PoolTogether for Ethereum public goods...
1. Community pools Dai 2. Dai earns interest on compoundfinance 3. Interest earnings are donated to ETH projects 4. Can take back your principal at any point
@freakazoid@stevenroose@cwebber It would seem to me to use AOL, Google, FB or Twitter is exactly the kind of centralisation we are hoping to move away from.
@freakazoid@stevenroose@cwebber The problem with you controlling what your pet names refer to means that the names are not global. It would be more difficult for a new project/app/website to direct you to their content if they aren't even sure if the link they give will get you there.
@mkb Someone who takes privacy serious is Jameson Lopp. Check out some of his interviews specifically operational security. Maybe you'll get something from that.
@salixlucida Might it be because of compounding inflation? 3% inflation for two years will be more than 6% inflation over two years. Saying that, I don't trust the inflation numbers my government (Canadian) releases.
