    Today's project. Ikea hacking.

    Lack Tables are the most hackable furniture creation ever made.

    Today I'll be starting a 3 teir Guinea Pig Cage, and hopefully also making a enclosure for H.O.W.E.E.

    Currently printing the foot anchors to be used with the Pig enclosure.

    Discovered an old friend in a bag at parents' place. Didnt realize immediately which computer it was, I didn't remember it's so tiny!

    I used to work on this? Wow. Is that 1024x768?

    Actually it's 1280x800!

    Oh but the keyboard is a *dream* compared to all these iBook'y keyboards we have today.

    @metnix Many of my cheese-loving friend love prästost. I like the taste, but it's too brittle and sweaty to be sliced without making a mess. Also it lacks the slightly sour tone of the herrgårds.

    @iona Herrgårdsost is kind of a slightly maturer and richer Emmentaler. It's hard (but not cheddar hard), large-piped and very slicable.

    @iona There are dozens of brands of cheese that are similar but not quite like it. The IKEA cheese is a good, if a bit bland, representative, but it's not my particular favorite. In HK I buy Dutch Edamer, which is basically inside the range of what Swedish cheeses are like, and it's better and cheaper than the IKEA cheese.

    My parents have some new brand that is called Storsjö, which has the connotation that it would be made in Östersund. Maybe it is. It's pretty similar to hushållsost, but even creamier and richer.

    My favorite is herrgårdsost (or even better, kungsgårdsost from Åland). But if you want to just gobble up slice after slice, hushållsost is the thing.

    I need to remember to buy a bunch of cheese slicers to bring back home. I have one and it's not amazing. Not even IKEA has cheese slicers in HK.
