    This is unfortunate. But I dislike the sanctimonious tone of the article. People distrust modern medicine due to ignorance, cannot afford due to cost and lack of access. Beating them from a high horse won't solve the problem I think.

    Auctioning of spectrum has resulted in huge debt to telecoms as well as high cost for customers. However, First Come First Server basis seems shady. But around 2008, FCFS resulted in steep decline in mobile service prices. I wonder if there's any other method.

    I use a feature phone from an obscure Chinese brand - iTel 5600. Its battery lasts a week (I rarely talk). However I had trouble with importing contacts as it only allows 14 char name. But it costed me Rs.1000 (~$15). Tried another obscure brand by the name yxtel, but its phone was horrible.

    Someone I know brought a feaure nokia phone for Rs.2000, it seems good (don't know what model no though).

    Today I planted a dogwood tree (cornus kousa), sowed some seeds, did some raking, etc.

    Every time I dig up the yard a robin shows up to look for worms in the freshly dug soil. Sometimes he makes conversation in bird-speak. Sometimes he brings a friend.

    I like to think of the two of us as friends.

    But is it the same robin that I see every time? I have no idea.

    Sometimes I cannot really point out why I dislike a person. I cannot really point out a logical reason. May be some internal bias. But I do try to suppress it.
