@pony Yes! And it holds up well, thankfully! I'm enjoying rewatching it.

The Neverending Story is on TV at the moment (in Germany), so I'm watching it... and I realized I have never seen it in HD before now. My memory is of watching it on a blurry videotape (might've been VHS; could even have been on a Betamax).

There's so much detail in the movies most of it still works well (although some of the 80s setpieces looks a little fake, like the obviously fake flowers and some sculpted and painted "rocks").

The Neverending Story is basically paralleled in Zelda games (young boy sets out on a quest riding his trusty horse to save the land and the princess from a beast).

Vampires are typically evil, because they can't make a change by starting with the man in the mirror. 🦇
