So fucking what? People are gonna do what people are gonna do. A unified fedi is a pipe dream. It exists only in the minds of some idealists. People are far too messy to ever unify. Look at leftists. Look at the fact we have 191 (give or take) countries on this planet. If we could all agree on things, there would be no war.

But there is war. And it's not gonna stop.

At least on fedi, it's easy to keep the peace.

I still don't understand why people care what instance admins do. I maintain if you don't like the way an instance admin does something, move. A fundamental principle of federation is that it's easy to pick up shop if you don't like it.

I block gab because that's the way we run things around here. Don't like it? Go somewhere else. You know where gab is.
