The thing is like

I'm a Socialist... and I'm not afraid to do this thing called... *gasp* compromise, to improve society.

Compromise with Capitalists is why the 8 hour work day is *the norm* vs 10-12 hour work days, why minimum wage exists, and why most countries that aren't America or the third world have universal health care and a welfare state at all.

But "compromise" is a dirty word with extremists. All or nothing I guess 🤷.

Antifa is a movement that goes beyond Communism and it just pisses me off because AS USUAL FOR COMMUNISTS they want ideological purity.

I of course know plenty who I would want on my side but they tend to be more sensible and actually thoughtful about unintended consequences.

I genuinely feel less safe around anarchists because I don't believe most of them have my back or frankly anyone's back but their own.

I'm not sure I trust like 50-75% anarchists to stand up for me or my human rights, or frankly, any rights but their own.

I trust them to kick the shit out of me for not being an anarchist, and in the case of ancaps, to shoot me in the head for not being capitalist.
