Do Not Eat Silicone Packets

I just discovered, back on the birdsite, and account called “Mary, Queen of Bots”. It has generated 7,500 tweets. It has 10 followers. It’s not just some Elizabethan shitpost bot though - it uses the lyrics from the song of the same name from Gershwin’s musical “Primrose”. I am perplexed at a lot of the choices here.

There's a lot of customer culture attitude in Mastodon-the-community, where people treat Gargron and other devs, the instance admins, moderators, etc. like service workers. It's a spoiled, entitled attitude, where "the customer is always right" and it's okay to be abusive or demeaning to people providing a service when they don't give you what you want.

The fediverse isn't a corporate model. When you're rude or demeaning to someone here, you're being abusive to volunteers building a playground

this box contains my entire collection of soldering tools, the oscilloscope, and all banana and croc cables. Would never think it can be so compact

so an idea for a new hashtag: #fediverseTours

if there's a place of interest you think visitors to your town and city should see or you want to mark, just post about it (pictures, description gps coordinates ect) and add the #fediverseTours tag to it

An unremarkable photograph in many ways.
However, the concrete post amuses me.
It is exactly like one of the pair that used to be in my grandparents back garden and formed the basis of their washing line.
So I wonder:
A) Who would be hanging out their washing in the lower slopes of Mither Tap.
B) How much washing could you get on 1/2 a mile of line, as the other post like it is a long way away.

Obviously it has some other purpose, but it really does remind me of washing. 😀
