    It depends. I use it on a server of mine, but also on my desktop machine at home. On my desktop I have installed the nix package manager ( nixos.org ), to avoid compiling of bigger packages, like graphical webbrowsers or so.

    Gentoo is a rolling release and can be systemd-free if you wish so.

    Wuerdest Du bitte meinem pleroma-account ( cat@edolas.world ) auch schon mal folgen? Ich kann mich dort gerade nicht einloggen... auch von zu Hause aus ist das immer mit Schwierigkeiten verbunden, aber nach vielen Versuchen gelingt es irgendwann, was hier gerade nicht der Fall ist, aber wenn ich wieder zu Hause bin und mich dort einlogge, habe ich schon mal die notification und kann dir dann gleich auch folgen.

    Ich werde vielleicht auch nochmal umziehen - moechte mich aber vorher mal mit dem admin ueber das Problem unterhalten und dann entscheiden. Das ist mir gerade hier im Krankenhaus halt einfach etwas zu anstrengend, deswegen nutze ich gerade den GS-account :-)

    The strongest painkiller that I can use is metamizol, because in my past I used a lot of drugs. I'm now clean since almost 9 years, but addiction is of course a cronic illness - but this way I had to use more painkillers than usual :-)

    Yes :-) I hope that from now my concentration will come back slowly. The last weeks all these physical aspects and pain were in foreground and I have been tired after reading a few pages of a book or so... So many things happened to me meanwhile I have been fully bedridden the last two weeks... I'm waiting for the nurse that she does the needed things for me that I can leave the bed later on! This makes me soooooo happy \o/

    Sagt einmal, liebes Redaktionsteam von Golem.de: Ist bei euch eine Form des verfrühten Sommerlochs angekommen? Oder warum berichtet ihr mittels reißerischen Titelzeilen wie "Was tun ohne E-Mail-Sicherheit?"?

    Dazu dann noch ein LIVE-Stream mit dem entsprechenden Sicherheitsexperten Hanno Böck, der dann auch wahrscheinlich eine entsprechende Alternative im Gepäck haben dürfte. Wenn ich raten darf: SIGNAL vielleicht? Prima: Ersetzen wir eine Verschlüsselung, die durchaus funktioniert sofern eingesetzt wie gedacht nämlich Plain-Text in der Nachricht, durch einen zentralisierten Dienst. Ganz besonders gute Idee. Nicht wirklich, aber kann man ja bereits zwei Artikel dazu produzieren, nicht wahr? Natürlich MUSS man auch HTML-Inhalte in jeder E-Mailnachricht haben und man MUSS auch unbedingt alle Inhalte extern nachladen. Keine Frage: Dazu braucht es auch eine Überarbeitung der Verschlüsselung. Aber ernsthaft jetzt: Das ist jetzt wirklich eure Empfehlung? Reißerische Aufmachung und dünne Informationen? #PGP #Verschlüsselung #Unsinn
