@veer66 it is only very recently Redmond have been promoting its use, I watched a training video about it from about 2 years ago and they spent quite a lot of time explaining to (presumably younger) people "do not be afraid of the command line!"

Since my father gave me a book and CD of Slackware, I wanted to work with a computer again.

@angristan I moved from a pretty inactive instance because I wanted to have more activity. Mstdn.io was the first one I found with enough users and that was not safe space bullshit isolating itself from the entire network.

@tim Another "entepreneur" would probably come along claiming to have revolutionalised the CMS industry by changing scp to rsync very soon.

youporn and pornhub are both mobalizing now to fight for #netneutrality.

...I'm curious what happens if ppl loose from one day to the other access to their favorite porn sides. xD
