@lnxw48a1 unions always struck me as an important measure for the short-term -- a way to meet abuses by a large collective (company) with coordinated action by another (the employees). but too often, it seems that unions end up serving themselves after their original reasons for existing have passed, becoming parasitic. disbanding a movement seems a foreign concept: some people will always find more dragons to fight once you put them in that mode.
