yeah, the date range issue is a new issue. It's one I new existed, but one that had never mattered to me before.
I was considering next year just limiting things to the FMA and using the FMA dates. This would be kinda like the Grammy's rise to prominence metric for new artists but nothing decided there. The fun thing about doing it that way would be it increases the amount of stuff on FMA (assuming people actually take things they want to win and upload them), which is nice since they are a non-profit.
If you want, I can send you the info for the meeting with ccMixter after it gets scheduled. I'm sure it'll be Hangouts though.
most of the musicians will say to ask the label. I just take the least restrictive license, although now that we allow -ND on Music Manumit, it's less of an issue.
🚨 Board of Estimate & Taxation meetings happen in City Council chambers. Cameras are there, ready to record, like so many other meetings that happen there. But the meetings aren't recorded and nobody gets to see this stuff. Needs to change. https://twitter.com/elizabethraine/status/984180994872930304
Just had a short little meeting about a !ccmusic festival in !minnesota. I'm no more sure about the direction than I was, but it's interesting to hear the ideas and experiences others have had.
seems a bit redundant: "What authentication methods are allowed?
The Git Connector supports both SSH authentication and HTTPS.
Is communication with Git Connector secure? Communication is over SSH or HTTPS. The Git Connector can communicate with Helix over SSL.
How does the Git Connector handle authentication and authorization?
The Git Connector uses SSH keys to verify your identity, and matches your Helix user account and public key to that stored in the Helix server and the Git Connector. HTTPS checks the user name and password against the Helix user name and password.
In addition, the Git Connector will check the permissions of the user."
