and I probably should have been more clear...looking for people using sqlite in their dev work, not the actual devs of the project. I want to know some of the stuff surround driver usage like what you were saying about it being embedded in the application.

We were specifically asked about supporting drivers. I told sales we needed more information from the customer and they said we could talk about it next week. I suspect my research will be the only research that has been done, for a variety of reasons. We were able to say yes to a lot of the ask, so I just don't think this is particularly high on the priority list.

Sometimes, we do talk about the risk, but we don't really like to take that into consideration because then we can leave ourselves exposed if we are wrong. What I mean is that the risk of getting tickets about this is probably pretty low given what you cite, but we don't get in the habit of saying we can do something just because we probably won't have to.

There is a JDBC driver on github, but I don't even know that. I literally just know "drivers". I think I have enough if it comes up again to back up what I said last time: we need more information from the customer.

Hard to see Frey getting re-elected after this. Why wait until today to pull the curfew button? I guess we will see how he takes on the police force. Same thing for Carter.

So far, Walz is coming out of this looking pretty good, I think.

you import java.sql.DriverManager, but then you still have to call the driver directly. I guess if you have multiple sql drivers that makes sense. Still, if there is just one, you would think it would be smart enough.

I guess I am assuming there is some sort of abstraction where you point things to JDBC and it doesn't matter the backend, but maybe that is wrong?

so, my #postgres application seems to work in #wildfly. I guess I need to write a #java application to test it? I've never used Wildfly before so...yeah.

India and Brazil sure. Not that the US has a glowing reputation on indigenous people, but can't see China doing anything more than spying on Uyghers.

The MPD has a long history of bad attacking. The force needs to be completely gutted.

It is a difficult political task and I don't think the rioters have helped the cause.

People on the ground say the violence started by people from Bloomington, Eden Prairie, and other nearby towns, and not locals. I'm not saying it is a false flag, but it is people that give zero fucks about the places being burned.

I can't see Frey getting reelected unless he takes on MPD though.

well, a lot of the talks are actually about K8s. It would be really useful for me to attend long-term, but it just isn't a good short-term investment. I need to spend the day working on getting Wildfly set up. I mean, Wildfly itself is not that hard, but ssl on the HAL interface isn't working. SSL on the application side is working. I have a feeling the https port is different than the http port, but I can't find any information about that. I don't really have a deadline, but this one guy does keep asking me about it, so I just want to get it done.
