it turns out the Ansible meetup is hosted in the building I work in, just by a different company. It's super-close and I know the building. I don't know anyone that works at Collabrio though.
We are moving our #opensource stuff to GitHub. I get that GitHub is not a shining beacon of freedom, but it's better for getting contributions than our Helix Swarm instance, which is only tied to the proprietary p4d !VCS system.

musicmanAs some of you may remember, I occasionally listen to the Dharma Punx podcast. He talks about the need for friends a lot on the podcast. As I have mentioned, my main !biking partner is moving to California tomorrow. Not only does this leave me with no one to ride with, it has left me looking for human connection during a very difficult time.
Sometimes, it is definitely "better" to cycle by myself, particularly since most people are not very good cyclists, but I am on the bike enough that it makes sense to ride with someone.
Anyway, I am going to an #Ansible meetup tomorrow. Perhaps that will help some, although that means I won't be around to help with the cat stuff. I am sure I will come home to a mess.
My main #cycling partner is moving to California this week. If anyone in the #Minneapolis #Minnesota metro wants to meet up for a ride this weekend, let me know!
@lnxw48a1 fun Marvin has been gone for almost two years. Sure, I miss that Marvin, but three cats is too many for our space anyway. Not Marvin's fault, but lesson learned.

musicmanMarvin is in the hospital and it's glorious. I hope he's not in pain, but I am not going to miss that guy. Also, I don't want him to die at the hospital, with a bunch of scary people he doesn't know. He's been a good cat, he's just been sick for a long time and I'm over it.
