equal proportion, as in, a billionaire exploits any single poorer person a thousand times harder than a millionaire does, which makes them the biggest exploiters. but I disagree, the rich don't exploit everyone else proportionally, they exploit those poorer than themselves a lot harder than they could exploit the richer, that in turn exploit them. so the poorest are the only group that ends up exploited by everyone else proportionally. sure they are entitled to complain louder, but that doesn't make the millionaire's complaint any less true. despite all their privilege and exploitation of others, the billionaire gets a lot more privilege, and gets to exploit the millionaire unlike any other group of individuals. I guess it hurts when one does unto them what they do unto others. -

GNU Jami works beautifully most of the time these days, it's been the most reliable teleconferencing system I've used. group chats have been supported for a while, and they work pretty well. having the same account on multiple devices seems to help when the occasional device has trouble getting through due to network issues. I set up a single-user "group" chat to send myself reminders from one laptop to the other. it's been great to send files to other users without resorting to intermediaries. -

it's not that binary, no
ISTM that search engines have been taken steps towards identifying key information and summarizing for quite some time, rather than just ranking and quoting. there's a spectrum there -

I mean, you think it's some kind of trap they use to attract people who wish to learn French so that they can bully them? if they wish people to learn French, they should most definitely welcome people who express interest, not push them away -

that is a common but incorrect misconception, that has even been pushed by OSS organizations. Apache, MIT, BSD all typically refer to copyright licenses that respect the essential freedoms for users to control their computing -

maybe tell it to break with the norm and try some neologism, and see if it catches both counterexamples ;-) -
