Alexandre OlivaI'm not saying you're wrong, just missing a point for being too strict in that reading we don't really need the shit, the horrible-quality goods that the current system wants us to sell us we do need healthy food, clean water, sustainable clothes and public healthcare. none of this is shit, and we can't really buy any of that. we need a different system to have that.

Alexandre Olivaoh, drew, won't you ever cut the bs? you take an "I was wrong, children need to be protected, but teens are not children" and leap from that to "teens don't need any protection whatsoever", which does not follow at all. that's what my daughter calls neurotypism: making guesses about what's going on in a neurodivergent's mind as if the person were neurotypical. our minds are different and diverse even among ourselves, but you can't get that into your mind AFAICT because it would conflict with your determination to condemn an innocent person. teens are not children, but they aren't adults either. their development requires progressive autonomy. your stance that they should have no say whatsoever as to their sexual development and experiences, because you say so and set out to destroy that who says otherwise, is the problem here. teens need increasing amounts of autonomy as they progress towards adulthood for the sake of their own development, and it's your push for infantilizing them is that is harmful. moreover, development is not uniform, chronological ages are reference points but not determinant. there's diversity even there, and even more so among atypical people. your binary stance lacks the tolerance, inclusiveness, thoughtfulness and nuance that you'd see in RMS's speech if only you weren't so blinded by what you project onto him. why do you hate diversity of thought so much?

Alexandre Olivaso sorry, that sucks have you checked your vitamins and minerals? just the other day I was talking to someone who's moderately knowledgeable on the matter, and a lot of depression these days seems to be strongly correlated with low levels of some essential micronutrients. fixing those has worked a lot better on me than prescriptions I got before.

Alexandre Olivafull disclosure: I don't carry a tracking device, I don't wish to carry a tracking device, and every public or private service that attempts to deny me service for this reasonable choice comes across not only as an accessibility barrier, but as an existential threat. it's an artificial disability imposed on me, that I find myself constantly struggling with nowadays. it's become quite a trigger.

Alexandre Olivamy (admittedly obscure and misleading, I see now) reference to SC was because it sets the precedent, normalizes, and pushes for this sort of solutionism. governments, whether corrupt or just gullible, have been following along and entrenching the duopoly with solutionism that displaces working and accessible services. it's maddening. when schools started adopting google for ad-ucation tools, it was not because they wanted to make kids dependent for life, it was because google sold them an illusion that it would be great for the students and for the schools. it is a kind of corruption, but it's not necessarily the kind in which the powers that be take a side payment or a luxury trip; it can get honest decision-makers to embrace horrible systems whose downsides only become apparent when it's too late

Alexandre OlivaI'm the kind of neurodivergent who's transparent and thinks of unusual ideas. it's a shame that some people take our ideas without context and turn them into dog whistles for reproachable ideas, and then others assume we, who can't help being transparent, are withholding their horrible thoughts. but I do have a problem with your suggestion that it started on Oct 7th last year. that's difficult to not take as malicious manipulation at this point. you might have called that a dog whistle if you weren't so deep in your own rabbit hole. your presumption of antisemitism is nonsensical: if two humans were fighting, and I set out to hold the one who was beating up the other to death (whether or not I knew how hard the other had hit before), how the heck would that make me antihuman?!?
