@ミ★ Confederate Space Force ★彡 abortion is one of the most controversial issues in the USA, including in the LP itself. Of course its all about when a pre-born person has rights themselves. I agree that if a government exists it has a duty to protect those that cannot protect themself. The abortion issue is the main reason I consider myself a radical libertarian, and not an all out anarchist.
For years the LP platform said basically Libertarians can be pro-life or pro-death so the Libertarian Party is pro-death. We eliminated the abortion plank from the national platform in 2022 so officially the national Party has no position on it.
I wrote the Michigan LP health care plank which I think covers it pretty clearly
The most fundamental property right is an individual’s right to own and control their own body. All individuals have the right to determine their own health care needs and treatment. Exercise of this right does not remove the moral obligations not to violate the rights of others. We recognize the state, when it exists, has a duty to protect the rights of others, particularly those in society who are the most vulnerable, including the very old, the very young, and the mentally handicapped. The state, where it exists, does have a duty to protect the life of all individuals, and should prosecute those who utilize force or fraud to end life.

Chase's official position is quite similar, talking on the item that all Libertarians should be able to agree on, that there should be no government funding of abortions
RESPECT INDIVIDUAL CHOICE ON TOUGH ISSUESThere are many complex issues in our society which offer no easy solutions. More than a few of these issues involve individuals engaging in activities that may run counter to our personal beliefs. Outside of obvious criminal offenses such as assault, theft, or murder, it is not the role of government in a free society to prohibit such behavior, even when the majority wishes it so. For this reason, activities such as abortion are the province of individual choice and bodily autonomy.
• I recognize the complexity of this issue and how there can be good faith positions on both sides of the abortion debate. With this said, I will work to encourage states to decriminalize abortions, as these decisions should rest in the hands of individuals and their doctors.
• I will encourage the passage of the Hyde Amendment, which will prevent Federal dollars from funding abortion clinics.
• I will encourage states to incentivize alternatives to abortion, such as adoption, by easing burdensome regulations that greatly increase their cost. The median range for adopting a newborn baby is between $25,000 to $45,000, placing this avenue out of the range of many who would otherwise be willing.

Oliver himself claims to be a born again Christian, for whatever that is worth.
