@adam Minimal crap is certainly the case! And they're still built like a tank, with the battery lasting a week with normal usage, and probably up to a month if you keep it in a drawer.

@adam Sorry to disappoint you, but the Nokia Asha phones are *not* Symbian, but the successor of S40.

They were meant to bridge the gap between feature-phones and smartphones. All apps are Java apps, which means they have no, or very little, ability to run in the background (so no tracking, as long as you don't open the app)

Let me know if you have any questions, I wrote the Java subsystem on these phones 😃

Interesting, apparently you can't make diesel or jetfuel out of the light crude coming from shale, and the majority of refineries can't even process it.
