Just learned that our developer hire is getting put on hold due to budget cuts. This also explains why they shut off the free bus passes.

If you were a good manager you'd know that Perforce users can't strictly give other Perforce users read/write permissions on another directory

and if you did, then maybe you'd make the IT ticket yourself, instead of telling the engineer to do it, since you're the manager

Came back to 4 open warning dialogs in perforce, each one unresponsive

but it will happen. I don't know how but it will. like it always has. I won't catch a break

I hope I have the inner strength to try and release my own game rather than try to find work

it will be either over the phone or via email, there will be no warning. I will not have had enough experience to get me other work. I will hear again and again about how it shouldn't be hard for me to find work and spend months unemployed.

can't wait to be laid off suddenly. I'll be the only layoff as I'm the least "seinor" programmer. I would bet money on it if I could

@craigmaloney he's a shitty fucking boss who will throw a perfectly good build out, that i've spent weeks on, just so that one feature that he just came up with can be implemented
