@weltini oh, you code perl for fun?
that's rare these days.
you were coding in the 1990s, by chance?

@weltini that's artificial name so really no correct pronunciation.
ksa with silent k or just sa are fine. ^_^
it's also my legal name on id.
@weltini ITM. 😀
@yukiame hahaha 🤣
@yukiame no, but i heard Monty Python ever since 1995 or so when python came about, but only till maybe 2010 or so i finally knew what Monty Python was, on youtube. Quite funny.
this one my fav
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue7wM0QC5LE
i recall, last year i spend half a day reading his stuff. Totally Incomprehended. But i went to Wikipedia instead, on article Dark Enlightenment. And there, you readily learn things and what he's about.
today i did the same. Turns out, he knew Peter Thiel and in fact spend the election night at Peter's house. That's nice to know.
About Dark Enlightenment (aka neoreaction), is quite interesting. You might go read Wikipedia yourself. Be warned, parts i see are sjw smear.
the Mencius Moldbug guy, is inventor of some obscure tech called urbit, which i have no idea what it is. I first heard about a year ago, over a controversy where he is invited to a clojure conference to talk about his tech, but got thrown out by sjw. Then, months later, at another conference lambda something, the sjw is doing it again, but the good people sees the injustice, and donated lots money to sponsor him or the conference.
but wait. This loper guy, i don't know who he is, but he seems to be a classic hacker. “Hacker” here means, real programer who knows his stuff, in depth, from programing langage down to the cpu. Anyway, he's got some interesting writing. go check it out sometimes.
@yukiame you kidding! i googled and that seems to be a fart.
i was, lying in bed, unassuming, trying to do my daily routine of googling
who mentioned me. Then, there it is, loper-os.org , a classic, old,
common lisper, who has me mentioned in his blog roll, for years. And, just above my name,
, there it is: Unqualified Reservations, the blog of Mencius Moldbug.
spent 3 hours reading Mencius Moldbug. First of all, what a name.
his writing is, incomprehensible, or, caters to a clique.
Opaque, elitist, and holier than thou.
Lots assumptions. It assumes, for example, you are acquainted with the literature of the history of western politics.
1 article of his, will take you 2 hours to read. and that's only superficially. Instead, you skim and scan, not for understanding, but feel where he's going.

Liszt Transcendental Etude № 12

Inescapable darkness and gloom. Each note is a knifing on your heart. It repeats, over and over, with greater intensity and sternness. Forces of nature in execution sans mercy.
啸风暴雨,苦海飞腾。音符如刀,刀刀刻心。非情非念,冷酷始终。
@jeremiah there's this collection of articles, but more focused on math notation
https://github.com/hypotext/notation
well and lots of my articles on syntax and notation
@jeremiah so, i was saying, from this perspective, purely technical and not human or coding practice issue, that readability of js is worse by a large gab, in comparison to most other lang, including perl.
agree or don't agree? :D
@jeremiah on the code -> on the coder.
