when u see a programer blog about #haskell #clojure #lisp, regard it as pure drivel. Sometimes, a CS professor give video talk about haskell etc, that's ok, still, relatively a waste of time.

when reading these, every paragraph have like 10 jargons u dont know. click to read that. Do this, 2 hours a day, after a year, then, u know.

@MattyBFiles on average, counting chars, 1 chinese char is 5 to 6 english letters.

but still, my twitter question stands.

that is, technically, it's simpler to just count chars, as limit. To do special case of asian lang, is extra step of determining language. And, what's possible reason to do this extra step for asian langs? "just to be fair"? that seems artificial.
