We tend to rush through things for the end prize. it seems to be common culturally to do this. perhaps similar to trying to gain a lot of profit from just a little amount of work.

@kai Oh, I only took a short while off, mainly due to life chaos, but I'm going to do a full actual purposeful vacation soon, where I'm truly completely tech free (no laptop or phone).

I just feel that the term "STEM" is so ridiculous, and it is so heavily marketed.
