Are you aware that putting under the GPL the same thing happens ?

    >thing I'm nothing against so BSD and stop to care about my non existing rights
Why not put it under GPLv3 if you think that it would't change anything ?

Walmart-exclusive router and others sold on Amazon & eBay contain hidden backdoors to control devices CyberNews
    https://nu.federati.net/url/278305

    >In a collaboration between CyberNews Sr. Information Security Researcher Mantas Sasnauskas and researchers James Clee and Roni Carta, suspicious backdoors have been discovered in a Chinese-made Jetstream router, sold exclusively at Walmart as their new line of “affordable” wifi routers. This backdoor would allow an attacker the ability to remotely control not only the routers, but also any devices connected to that network.
    >
    >CyberNews reached out to Walmart for comment and to understand whether they were aware of the Jetstream backdoor, and what they plan to do to protect their customers. After we sent information about the affected Jetstream device, a Walmart spokesperson informed CyberNews: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are looking into the issue to learn more. The item in question is currently out of stock and we do not have plans to replenish it.”

    ~~

    >Besides the Walmart-exclusive Jetstream router, the cybersecurity research team also discovered that low-cost Wavlink routers, normally sold on Amazon or eBay, have similar backdoors. The Wavlink routers also contain a script that lists nearby wifi and has the capability to connect to those networks.
    >
    >We have also found evidence that these backdoors are being actively exploited, and there’s been an attempt to add the devices to a Mirai botnet. Mirai is malware that infects devices connected to a network, turns them into remotely controlled bots as part of a botnet, and uses them in large-scale attacks. The most famous of these is the 2016 Dyn DNS cyberattack, which brought down major websites like Reddit, Netflix, CNN, GitHub, Twitter, Airbnb and more.

    >so like, “i didn’t have sex with that girl” instead of saying her name
I believe that there is a mixing two things.

-"I did not have sex with" is a denial , but in this case it is not a form of amtssprache.

A form of amtssprache in this case would have been "I am not responsible for this baby, she did not use her pills" while he did not use a condom. This is a denial of responsibility, not only for the man in question but also for the woman too.
Both are responsible and both are denying their own responsibility/actions.
Worse they are putting their own responsibility onto someone else than their own self.

    ->with that girl
This is a form of "distancing language".

Ok I I've read what distancing language is. It's kinda that but not really.
Distancing language can be used for many reasons, notably to avoid people thinking for example that the subject you are speaking about is what you believe/are.

Amtssprache is just a form of denial of something that someone did. It's finding an excuse to say that he his not responsible for what happened/is happening.

Note that when you see that someone is using this form of logical fallacy, don't push it in their face, it only creates more anger. I know this by experience.

    >strange german word
Amtssprache means "bureaucratic language", they are type of expressions meant to discharge yourself of any responsibility for your action.
    For example:
    I had no choice.
    Company policy.
    Everyone does it.
    I followed orders.
    They did the same.
    They made me do it

Besides describing an opinion and evaluation these posts are partially fallacious in their reasoning.
Mental health is weird. You can be something as long as you have agreed that you are something. If you do not have any genetic abnormality that influences your body/mind (feedback loop) then it's a similar problem as Anorexia.

    Accumulated frustration and impasses.
For example some problems can't be solved alone and when people are made aware that they are fucking each other because of X reason the logic thing to do would be to stop doing it.
But often people don't and there are various reasons for that.
One of these reasons can just be a form of Amtssprache and that is probably one of the most frustrating reasons that there can be.
People are out of our control and we should just agree that we can't and shouldn't control others.
