    @notjeff it's a bitmap and in any case that port was released in times where utf-8 was not common. So it'd be either iso-8859-2 (latin2) or windows-1250. But again, Myst doesn't use fonts - it's pure bitmaps.

    @notjeff hm, replacing Help.dat with the one from GOG's English release makes it not crash and display the screen properly in English - it's likely that specific bitmap being either broken with scummvm's mohawk driver or broken entirely after adding translations.

    I have no clue how to handle these archives, maybe there's a scummvm tool for that in the toolset.
