@veer66 @pruet unfortunately I don't have an answer; when I typed in Thai I always used my Ergodox because 42 keys would not fit any existing layout.

you could design a new layout using two separate fn keys, but I did not feel qualified to do that myself as a beginner.

@Satsuma @trappleton @Juju no that's a good point. the other two are a bit more standalone, but Tehanu needs context. I'd encourage you to finish it; the sixth book is a masterful conclusion.

@Satsuma @trappleton @Juju I would count Earthsea as two distinct trilogies written decades apart; the first three books are disqualified but the last three certainly aren't.

thinking about how much time and effort we could have saved if people had just read the part of the USB spec where it says that "the side of the cable that has the USB logo on it should face up when you plug it in" instead of making everyone throw away every USB cable and port ever created
