3D Printing is awesome for small-scale manufacturing. But plastic is VERY limiting.

Metal printing is a thing, but it's protected by so many trade secrets, patents, etc. that it's effectively out of reach for us.

Except, it doesn't have to be so hard! Plenty of metals can be suspended in a binder, printed, and fired at ceramics-kiln temperatures (although gas purge and better control may be required). But binder/material specifics are locked away from us.

Is there a better local email client for #Linux than Thunderbird? I've been using T-bird for a long time, and while it's good I do find it a little...clunky. The whole smart junk mail filtering really isn't all that smart and the UI's kind of old.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has managed to improve on it over the past several years. Anyone know what's out there these days, or is it all webmail now?

That's right! Discord has mandatory autoplaying video ads, you can't turn them off, and modifying your client to not play them (in order to reduce nausea!) is a _bannable offense_.
