@konibo hm, same version as me 🤔 Which OS are you using? Are you using the Flatpak? Double-check your ListenBrainz token, and make sure "MusicBrainz" is on in the Privacy tabs of the Lollypop settings. If that fails, maybe post something on their Gitlab? They have been very responsive in my experience.
If you are using the Flatpak, you can have a look at the log with:
flatpak run org.gnome.Lollypop --debug
Maybe that reveals something interesting, the scrobbling feedback is fairly readable.
@parvifolia I agree. This might not be fixed in the upcoming release, as I think the fuzzy search is not prioritised, but it might be worth reporting it as an issue with common abbreviations, something that shouldn’t be too much effort to fix? Who knows. Some very odd behaviours currently, testing it gives me very inconsistent results to be honest.
@parvifolia@policeinchains heya, which mobile OS do you use? Just wanted to update on this search issue. I added my two cents to a ticket on GitHub for the iOS version of OsmAnd, and I was told the next version will see improvements in that domain. So might be worth testing it again when it comes out! :) (although I'm not sure how much this is iOS-specific...) https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd-iOS/issues/528
#ListenBrainz is becoming _SO_ good, _SO_ quickly! I really recommend it. Its features already make it a viable replacement for #LastFM (given that it obviously integrates with #MusicBrainz very well). A lot of it was made possible by the awesome Vansika Pareek.
I listen to music with #Lollypop on the desktop, which can scrobble to ListenBrainz, but I also use the awesome Web Scrobbler extension to catch my listens on many websites.
Everyone: “I want to quickly find out how to cook this thing, let’s ask the Internet!”
Every recipe website: “Cooking this thing is so easy! But first, let me tell you about my grandfather’s dog’s grandmother’s sister and how she travelled from Sicily to the Pantanal on half a Vespa. [.........]”
TFW when, after years of showing her wildlife documentaries, gifting her books about saving pets, and taking her to visit wildlife sanctuaries, it dawns on you that your daughter meant "veteran" when she said "I want to be a vet".
No wonder she wanted guns for Christmas and wanted to play "pretend cognitive-behavioural counselling for PTSD".
QGIS-NA is a conference about all things #QGIS. This year it is held online over 3 weeks, the last of the 3 days being this Friday 31st of July.
All videos are on PlaySite. There's a full intro to QGIS that's close to 4 h, if you want to make a good start on this amazing program, in both Spanish and English.
Woman, next to muscly dude (with a big spanner in his hand, and a very tight shirt on ), talking to her kid: “No darling, daddy’s not here, but [dude’s name] is here to help us with... the car.”
You're better off getting one of those nifty, light "stick" vacuum cleaner. A lot more fun and less time consuming than chasing a silly robot that gets stuck everywhere and sends a map of your home to some company. If you want a brand, we really like our second-hand Electrolux ErgoRapido, but we haven't researched anything about it's longevity and repairability, so be better than us.
