@JordiGH yeah, it seems like the sort of thing that's probably a huge mess to deal with too, due to all the different GUI layers for different platforms and so on

@JordiGH At the moment I have it on a second monitor, which works reasonably well, but it'd be nice to have it persistently on the main screen. The Matlab behavior seems to have a parameter that isn't currently implemented in Octave: https://blogs.mathworks.com/pick/2005/11/15/default-docked-figures/

@JordiGH just been trying it out, doing some FIR filter design. really impressed so far tbh, though it'd be good if the pop-out 'figure' plot window was dockable!!
