Win for today: I found a non-amazon site to buy gallium and a spoon mold from for my students.

We're sending up a near space balloon and then want to investigate if the rapid temperature changes will be enough to make the gallium liquefy and re-solidify.

It's this kind of situation that makes me think FSF doesn't deserve my money. I should always support projects and communities separately or support respectful entities like Software Freedom Conservancy.

You know, it's ok not have an opinion about certain topics. I know we're all intelligent, thoughtful people that like to wrestle with ideas and concepts, but you don't have to do that with everything that you see.

It's ok to just let it go and not expend so much brain power on every topic one sees. You'll have plenty of other opportunities to put your big beautiful noodle to work.
