@wizard A lot of places still gatekeep pretty hard on college degrees as a first pass. We have a guy on our team with an unrelated degree and like 4+ years of highly related work experience, and yet he was still hired at the same level as someone fresh from college (completely unfair imo, but a reality for a lot of older workplaces)
I don’t really know where you live/what your situation is/what your wants are but I will say tho that lotsa young people these days don’t have drivers licenses and don’t even want them. if you want one yourself def keep pushing but it’s nothing to be ashamed of
The nice thing about earbuds as opposed to in-ear phones is that you can wear headphones on top of them when you feel too lazy to fix your audio setup.
oh my god it’s finally happened my echo woke me up playing Japanese music I don’t recognize and when I told it to stop it told me “there’s nothing currently playing”
Dang I actually put the (admittedly small amount of) work in clipping, lubing, and bandaging these stabilizers and god they just sound like normal keys now.
Hopefully some weekend from now I feel up to lubricating the switches as well. Last time I did that for an equivalent sized board it took me like four hours guhhh
