And people always say “well things won’t change if you don’t speak up” speaking up just gets me the response of “well that’s just how it is” or even worse, “that’s how <higher-up manager> wants it”

I feel like there’s a lot of these strictly one directional relationships at work. People break our stuff and we have to fix it. People ask us for help and we have to help them. People ask us to make something for them and now we have to maintain it. People don’t respond to our requests for feedback and then several months later complain about how we did it...

Don’t know why my team’s management is such pushovers, other teams we work with routinely just say “no”.

God another team broke our stuff and I had to stay late fixing it. I just know that tomorrow we’ll also be spending time arguing why are stuff was capable of being broken in this way, so it really is just a double whammy.

8bit steins gate sounds cool, but “30 hours” of side stories is obviously the better option, right?
