Audio and sushi are alike to me in that they have fixed ceilings but infinite floors—when I eat better sushi, it doesn’t really taste any better, but it makes all the other sushi I’ve had taste a lot worse.

One of my favorite vocal effects in songs is when the singer screams away from the microphone, so it sounds like they’re shouting from the next room.
